Today, twenty dedicated craftspeople—many with over 25 years' service—continue handcrafting each garment using traditional methods and original patterns preserved in the company archives. Their oilskin fabrics are sourced from British mills using sustainable natural fibres, hand-treated to achieve legendary waterproofedness that has protected sailors and workers for generations. Each piece is FSC approved, designed for decades of hard wear rather than seasonal fashion, embodying timeless coastal workwear that remains as popular worldwide as it was in the early 1900s.
