A Beautiful Jigsaw Silk Pocket Square

A Beautiful Jigsaw' is inspired by the Vulcan aircraft and is a high quality airplane silk pocket square with hand-rolled and hand-sewn hem. It is made in Macclesfield the traditional home of English silk printing and presented in a complimentary gift box. It was created in collaboration with renowned aviation artist David Bent whose original photo collage was inspired following a visit to the RAF's last serving Vulcan aircraft during its restoration. Vulcan XH558 entered service in 1960, during the Cold War and following a variety of different roles was finally retired in 1993. The XH558 last flew in 2015 and is now an inspiring visitor attraction.
David's geometric shapes, bold colours, authentic detail and Boy's Own bravado bring aviation and modern art together. The pocket squares are a celebration of flight. 'A Beautiful Jigsaw' is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed and reverse side of the silk pocket square. Which works perfectly with any pocket square fold. The artwork is framed by the pocket square's pale yellow border and grey hand-finished hem. 'A Beautiful Jigsaw' makes an ideal gift for men who are thrilled by the jet age and the role that the Vulcan played. Inside the high-quality Otway & Orford branded gift box the pocket square has been carefully wrapped in tissue and is accompanied by a card telling the story of the artist and his artwork.
