World Class Scrummage Silk Pocket Square

World Class Scrummage' is inspired by rugby and is a high quality, large-size silk pocket square with hand-rolled and hand-sewn hem. It is made in Macclesfield, the traditional home of English silk printing. It was created in collaboration with printmaker Paul Cleden, whose original linocut was printed using oil-based inks. The World Class Scrummage silk pocket square was inspired by his love of figurative movement in rugby. A homage to all its dynamic shapes and action. The work pits forwards against forwards in a titanic clash of White vs Red. Paul's linocut prints, with their bold overlapping colours and pared down shapes, take several months to produce. Each final print is hand-pulled by Paul using his 130-year-old printing press. 'World Class Scrummage' is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed and reverse side of the silk pocket square, which works perfectly with any pocket square fold. The artwork is framed by the pocket square's white border and turquoise hand-finished hem.
