Muncaster' Black and Charcoal Tweed Gloves

The Muncaster by Dents gloves is a true British gentleman's leather glove. And is the perfect look for those bracing country walks...to the pub. The charcoal Yorkshire tweed backing comes from the feted Abraham Moon. The last vertical mill left in Great Britain. Who are world-renowned for their consistent quality tweed. They have been making the finest tweed since 1837. The black and charcoal tweed gloves are traditionally hand cut by master glove makers. The black leather is Hairskin, which is widely acknowledged as the some of the finest leather for gloves because of its elasticity and smoothness which aids comfort and fit. The 'inner' glove is made from 3 ply Scottish cashmere for warmth and softness that also lets the hand breathe. Muncaster black and charcoal tweed gloves are a wonderful example of two great British craftsmanship brands working together. Making men's leather gloves that will last a lifetime. Dents have been crafting gloves since 1777 and are proud holders of a coveted Royal Warrant. Handmade in Wiltshire

Meet the Maker: Dents Gloves

Established in Worcester in 1777 by John Dent, Dents has spent almost 250 years perfecting the ancient art of glove-making. Holder of a Royal Warrant from His Majesty The King since 2016, Dents has created coronation gloves for both King George VI in 1937 and Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, along with special gloves for Queen Victoria and Lord Nelson. Each pair in their Heritage Collection is still handcrafted in Warminster, Wiltshire, by master leather workers, requiring up to 50 processes and taking the form of two gloves sewn together for superior fit and longevity. Some families have worked at Dents for generations, passing down traditional skills through the centuries. From the Fleming black driving gloves worn by Daniel Craig in Spectre to gloves for Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson in Batman, Dents combines heritage craftsmanship with contemporary design, creating gloves that fit better and last longer than any other in the world.
