Concorde Gin and Tonic Knife

The Concorde Gin & Tonic knife has 3 functions in its design. A bottle opener for the tonic, a serrated edge to slice lemons and a pinched head to pick the lemon up and drop it in your scrumptious G&T. And finished with our gorgeous Legacy Silverware etch on the blade. Legacy Silverware were commissioned by British Airways to design and manufacture the cutlery for Concorde. Crafted in their workshop in Sheffield, the pattern is unique to Concorde and still handmade. Legacy Silverware still had all of the original dies and tools so they have 'brought back Concorde cutlery' as a collector's gift. These Concorde Gin and Tonic knifes make a perfect gift for any gin lover. And with the rise of artisan gins throughout Britain, many people will love one to make the experience even more special. The glamour of Concorde and gin, what could be better?
Legacy Silverware have been manufacturing in Sheffield since 1898 and have been the supplier to Royalty, Concorde and the Titanic. Their history is as rich as it is long and are proudly still manufactured in England.

Meet the Maker: Legacy Silverware

Tracing its distinguished lineage to 1898 when brothers Albert and Joseph Yates founded the company in Sheffield - the birthplace of the steel industry - Legacy Silverware remains one of Sheffield's last working cutlery factories. The original JY assay mark still authenticates their work today. Originally crafting silver caps and ferrules for mother-of-pearl fish eaters, they soon became renowned for making some of the finest complete knives in the Sheffield cutlery industry. Joined by William Beatson in 1947, whose grandson continues the family legacy, Legacy Silverware hand-crafts every piece using the finest raw materials and traditional finishing methods. Suppliers to the Royal Family, Sultan of Brunei, Concorde, and The Titanic, this Sheffield institution combines traditional manufacture with modern presentation whilst championing British craftsmanship and sustainability.
