Bark Chestnut Solid Stick Umbrella

There is a touch of rustic charm with a Bark Chestnut Solid stick umbrella from Fox. The crook is very distinctive and will certainly get noticed. Designed to last a lifetime and more as it will undoubtedly become a heirloom for your children and grandchildren. It comes with a 25" Fox Frame. The handle and stick are made from one continuous piece of wood and is, therefore, almost as strong as a walking stick and can be used as a walking aid. The length of this umbrella is approximately 36" (91cm) from handle to ferrule. The cover/canopy is made with a high grade 100% Polyester fabric. The fabric is water repellent and UV treated. The cover/canopy when opened is approximately 42" in diameter (106cm). The umbrella weighs approximately 650 grams but can vary slightly due to each handle being unique as it is a natural product. The Bark Chestnut is a solid stick umbrella made from one continuous piece of wood with hand made springs, metal runner and notch, prevented ribs, inside rosette and outside rosette. Each piece of wood is unique as it is a natural product. This umbrella also comes with a matching outside case to help keep the umbrella clean when stored. I have just unwrapped my Fox umbrella. It is beautiful and took me back to the 1970's when I was a student in London. I was caught on Waterloo station in a total downpour so hurried into the lost property office to try and find an umbrella. I came out with a very lovely Fox umbrella, which I think I paid 50p for. It lasted me for years and years. I cannot even remember what happened to it. Now I have its replacement and am happy! Thank you Sir Gordon Bennett.
