Michael Ross have been making beautiful Fair Isle jumpers since 1979 when they were based in the Shetland Islands. Each piece is designed and crafted to make you look and feel amazing. Michael Ross are the go to Fair Isle brand and have produced Fair Isle products for Gucci and Laura Ashley and in fact have just created the Fair Isle jumpers as seen in the House of Gucci movie.
Their Knitwear is still knitted on hand frame machines and traditionally trimmed, which means that patterns can contain up to 11 colours in one design. Achieving colour play and nuances of shade that are not otherwise possible in conventional, automatic machine knitting.
Michael Ross insist on only the finest yarns and use wool from Yorkshire, Scotland and Ireland to create luxury quality knitwear and all now crafted in Thatcham in Berkshire.
