Meet the Maker: Stolen Form

Founded in 2012 by London-based designer Christian Marsden, Stolen Form specialises in recasting iconic urban features into striking functional ceramics. Inspired by years exploring London's streets and noticing everyday overlooked objects, Christian questioned how forms could be used differently, particularly the humble brick. Cast in Stoke-on-Trent, the historic home of British ceramics, their signature London Brick Vases and dishes are handmade in slip-cast earthenware, finished in stunning contemporary colours. Working with family-owned specialists across the Midlands, every piece is individually glazed by Christian in his studio, maintaining the personal approach of a studio ceramicist. The brand has expanded to include Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield, and Glasgow brick designs, elevating this foundation of British architecture into objects of desire that blur the lines between art and design, celebrating British manufacturing heritage with modern aesthetic sensibility.
