Brought as a gift, it was a shame to open the box to check the vase as the wrapping was so nicely done. Even the logo on the inside of the box was a nice touch. I cant wait to give this gift on Christmas Day. A fabulously unusual vase that will also have hometown connection. Shipped quickly and safely.

Really impressed with my first order from Sir Gordon Bennett. The vase was really good value and quality, and arrived quickly. It's also really nicely packaged so they'd be ideal to order gifts from too.

I ordered a Liverpool Brick Vase as Sir Gordon Bennett offered 10% off 1st orders and free delivery so was the best available price online. When the order arrived there were slight manufacturing faults in the glazing and as this was a gift for someone I wanted it to be perfect. I emailed customer support with photos and received a prompt reply from Dan apologising for the issue and advising he would look into this for me. The next day I received a follow up email advising a new vase was on its way which was delivered the following day. The replacement vase was perfect and I was advised to keep the faulty vase as this company is obviously environmentally conscious and returning it was just going to use more avoidable petrol. Although it would have been preferable to not have any issues with the vase I feel it says a lot about a company how they deal with issues when they arise and Sir Gordon Bennett and Dan were faultless. The measure of a good company is not just what they do right but how they resolve issues when things dont go quite to plan.

Meet the Maker: Stolen Form

Founded in 2012 by London-based designer Christian Marsden, Stolen Form specialises in recasting iconic urban features into striking functional ceramics. Inspired by years exploring London's streets and noticing everyday overlooked objects, Christian questioned how forms could be used differently, particularly the humble brick. Cast in Stoke-on-Trent, the historic home of British ceramics, their signature London Brick Vases and dishes are handmade in slip-cast earthenware, finished in stunning contemporary colours. Working with family-owned specialists across the Midlands, every piece is individually glazed by Christian in his studio, maintaining the personal approach of a studio ceramicist. The brand has expanded to include Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield, and Glasgow brick designs, elevating this foundation of British architecture into objects of desire that blur the lines between art and design, celebrating British manufacturing heritage with modern aesthetic sensibility.
