Snakeshead Hot Water Bottle

The 1.5L rubber Hot Water Bottle is luxuriously wrapped in a soft cotton cover, generously padded and finished with a satin ribbon. Provides hours of warmth, comfort and relief from aches and pains - the perfect companion for chilly nights.
Snakeshead was designed by William Morris in 1876, taking its name from the flowers dotted amongst its intricate textile pattern. The cleverly drawn shapes create a captivating three-dimensional effect as if the plants are blossoming from the cotton fabric.

Very good and nice touches on the packaging, if a little unecessary (unless it's a gift, which it wasn't) - the plastic stamp and the pink tissue paper are great, but I thought we were trying to reduce plastic waste. Promote green credentials and I'll never use Amazon ever again.

Meet the Maker: Green&Heath

Born from founder Ellen's fascination with the charm and aesthetics of a bygone era, Green and Heath creates ethical and elegant homeware crafted with William Morris fabrics from their Bristol workshop. Taking inspiration from Rococo and Baroque styles that adorned historic Edwardian and Victorian homes, their skilled artisans craft each piece with devotion to the Arts & Crafts movement and the romance of William Morris designs. The brand name combines Ellen's parents' surnames with her love of the countryside – greens and heaths being open, uncultivated grassy spaces where many historic houses are found. They believe in making things slow, using the best materials, sourcing locally wherever possible for zero air miles. Their William Morris fabrics are printed on natural fibres, and all cushions are plumped with 100% British wool – the most eco-friendly filling available. From lampshades to hot water bottles, each beautiful piece is as green as possible.
