Oxford-based designer Michael Buick created Pegg after moving house annually for fifteen years and recognising the need for portable, sustainable furniture. Reimagining traditional pegged joinery - the ancient technique that holds up Shakespeare's home and Japanese temples - Pegg creates solid wood tables, desks, stools, shelving and lighting that assemble and disassemble with satisfying ease using wooden dowels and pegs. Made from responsibly sourced British oak, ash or walnut, each piece is CNC-cut and handcrafted in small batches.
