Pegg Furniture have created a stylish, portable, solid wood desk - ideal for frequent movers and adaptable spaces. Simplicity is the key. Each leg fits snuggly into a socket in the desktop, held firmly with a single peg. When taken apart the legs and pegs store away neatly inside the desktop - making transport and storage so much easier. Takes a few minutes to build, solid when assembled, and strong enough to rebuild hundreds of times without breaking - ready to last you a lifetime.

Oxford-based designer Michael Buick created Pegg after moving house annually for fifteen years and recognising the need for portable, sustainable furniture. Reimagining traditional pegged joinery - the ancient technique that holds up Shakespeare's home and Japanese temples - Pegg creates solid wood tables, desks, stools, shelving and lighting that assemble and disassemble with satisfying ease using wooden dowels and pegs. Made from responsibly sourced British oak, ash or walnut, each piece is CNC-cut and handcrafted in small batches. With a ten-year guarantee and built to last a lifetime, Pegg furniture is for free spirits who refuse to compromise between beautiful craftsmanship and modern flexibility.
