Olive Green Italian Leather Tote Bag

Heather Borg handcraft each bag to order and as such they are the epitome of British craftsmanship. Each olive green leather tote bag is made from full grain leather from the world famous Badalassi Carlo Leather and is finished with hand stitched veg tan leather handles and Clasp, with an antique brass fastener.
These leather bags make the perfect tote as an everyday carryall, as a stylish work bag or even a short weekend bag. Not only will the bag feel like a one of due to its handmade nature but the grain is not printed and will therefore vary from skin to skin and within the skin itself.
Each hide is treated with extracts of trunk and bark inside wood barrels, greased with a mixture of animal fats and then coloured in a drum. Pulling up the skin beneath will reveal a depth of rich colour, this natural treatment will mean that it will contain slight imperfections and colour variation that will make it 'your' bag. This is one way to distinguish between a handcrafted bag and a mass manufactured bag.
