Meet the Maker: Bradleys Tannery

Since 1984, when Brad Burn began manufacturing leather gloves and aprons for heavy industry, Bradleys Tannery has been crafting exceptional leather goods in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. As one of the last remaining working leather tanneries in the UK, they proudly handmake every product using only the finest British materials and traditional techniques passed down through generations. When British manufacturing declined, Bradleys adapted, expanding their collection to include gardening accessories, bags, and lifestyle leather goods that are now sold worldwide. Based in their historic tannery in the traditional market town of Bridgnorth, their small team of local craftspeople hand-stitch each piece with meticulous attention to detail. From their iconic bucket bags and waist pouches to their celebrated gardening gloves that have graced the hands of celebrities and royalty, every Bradleys product is quintessentially British, built to last a lifetime and improve with age. Their waterproof leather combined with distinctive linen cuffs exemplifies their blend of functionality and traditional British eccentricity.
