Flying Shuttle with Mini Twine

Nutscene 1922 have repurposed some British history into a useful and beautiful object. These original flying shuttle come from decommissioned Yorkshire Mills and have a mix of 6 mini jute spools placed in them to create a mini jute holder. You could keep it as a mini jute holder or it could become a table centre or a holder for many other bits and pieces like keys. As they are original flying shuttles, each one is different and unique and will create a real talking point however you use or display it. They also make unusual gifts for the person who seems to everything.
Nutscene have been crafting jute twine in Scotland since 1922 and still use the same machinery as they did back then.

Good, honest company selling tip-top quality, stylish goods: items that are unavailable elsewhere. I was looking for a jacket that I thought no longer existed until I "stumbled" onto this website. I bought two of them, I liked them so much. In future, I will know exactly where to look.

Meet the Maker: Nutscene

Nutscene has been producing traditional jute garden twines with pride from their factory in Angus, Scotland since 1922, still using the original Victorian textile machinery. The brand's ingenious name derives from their patented green garden twine which, when tied around plants, was "not seen." This clever innovation, registered with the Patents Office in 1922, established Nutscene's reputation for quality that endures today. Their biodegradable jute twines are sourced from sustainable crops and come in a stunning array of 21 heritage colors, beloved by gardeners, crafters, and hobbyists worldwide. The iconic "Tin o' Twine" features center-pull dispensing for tangle-free use, while the strong 3-ply construction is soft enough for delicate stems yet robust enough for heavy-duty garden tasks. Nutscene remains the original and finest producer of eco-friendly colored jute twines, often copied but never equaled.
