CREAM TRADITIONAL GUERNSEY JUMPER

This is the authentic traditional cream Guernsey sweater made from 100% Pure British Wool (spun to Guernsey Woollens Specification). The unisex style is designed to fit beautifully and keep you snug.
It combines traditional techniques and skills with historic textured patterns and style details. Guernsey Woollens specialise in making unique garments with loving care, each piece is made to the exact required shape and is sewn together with traditional Guernsey skills. The only traditionally crafted Guernsey still crafted on the island of Guernsey.
Guernsey Jumpers have been around for over 400 years and were originally designed for local fishermen and fishing communities to keep them warm. Other seafaring communities around Britain adopted them and are generally known as 'Ganseys' which is a bastardisation of Guernsey.

For over 40 years, Guernsey Woollens has been manufacturing authentic traditional Guernsey jumpers from their Channel Islands workshop, honouring centuries of island knitwear heritage. Based on the island of Guernsey, they continue the time-honoured tradition of creating the iconic fisherman's jumper using 100% pure British wool. Each garment is meticulously made in its entirety in their Guernsey workshop, constructed 'on the round' in the traditional 'Guernsey way' to create seamless jumpers that are both stylish and supremely practical. Originally created by wearers' families out of necessity and love for protection at sea, Guernsey Woollens upholds this ethos today.
