Meet the Maker: Twig

Twig brings the natural world into urban homes through beautifully handmade cotton plant pots and carefully sourced houseplants. Founded in Bristol in 2019 by Sarah Cheetham, a conservation biologist who spent eight years working in jungles and rainforests worldwide, Twig was born from recognising plants' profound physical and mental benefits. After moving from conservation fieldwork to urban flat living, Sarah experienced firsthand how vital greenery is for wellbeing. Every cotton pot is handcrafted to exacting standards using 100% recycled cotton yarn, giving plants the natural hug they deserve. Based in Bristol's creative community at Tobacco Factory, Twig has grown from travelling to independent markets across Britain to establishing a beloved local shop. The brand combines Sarah's deep botanical knowledge with accessible, sustainable design - proving you don't need rainforests when you can create your own green happy place at home. Twig makes reconnecting with nature beautifully simple.
