Founder Rachel comes from a long line of London tailors (going back to the 1880s) on one side of the family and Welsh Mill owners on the other. Britannical specialise in finely tailored outerwear, which they make in the heart of London, using the highest standard of craftsmanship and premium wool cloth. Their range of coats for boys and girls up to 12 years of age combine traditional and modern style influences, celebrating the vibrancy of youth whilst writing a new chapter in the story of British luxury tailoring.
They believe in only using the finest cloth and yarns, and source them from British mills with more than 200 years of history. British-made pure cashmere, merino and lambswool fabrics are used for the outer of the coats which are soft on delicate young skin, warm yet breathable, hypoallergenic and flame retardant. For the linings they use British-dyed pure silk lining or sustainable linings with a recycled and recyclable synthetic content.
They are committed to sustainable practices and British artisan production skills. Britannical are also proud to be official supporters of the Campaign for Wool.
