And Pigswhisker have been making woollen jumpers for as long as they can remember in Nottinghamshire. All of their jumpers and cardigans are made from 100% British wool and are accredited by British Wool. Pigswhisker were once sold at Fortnum & Mason, that is when they had a clothing department and famously featured in Eric Newby's WW II PoW Diary A Merry Dance Around the World. ‘They had Pigswhisker pullovers, scarves and stocks from the Burlington Arcade secured with gold pins, mafe-to-measure Viyella shirts, and corduroy trousers, and one who was a member of a cavalry regiment called the Cherry-Pickers, wore cherry-red trousers.'
They were also affectionally known as the ‘Yachtsman choice' due to their tight weaves that helped keep the wind and rain for punishing its wearer. Today their beautiful jumpers are still made in Notttinghamshire and will protect you from the elements whether you are a wayfinder or seafarer.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0920/0697/3826/collections/craftsmanship-header_b2dd47e1-b5b6-4e39-8808-c05d638ee5d5.jpg?v=1761667667
