If there is one photographer who sees all the beauty in British culture and its people it is Martin Parr. Remote Scottish Postboxes is his first foray into landscape photography. But typically Martin has a slightly different take on landscape photography. Taken between 2004-2010, when Parr and his wife holidayed in the Scottish Highlands and isles of Shetland, Orkney, Barra, Islay and Lewis. Each remote postbox takes on a character and personality of its own. These red beacons of civilisation make a stark contrast to the lonely yet beautiful Scottish countryside.
