Break Away Silk Pocket Square

‘Break Away’ is inspired by professional cycle road racing and is a high quality, cycling silk pocket square with hand-rolled and hand-sewn hem. Beautifully made in Macclesfield, the traditional home of English silk printing. It was created in collaboration with leading ‘painter of speed’ John Ketchell. His original acrylic on canvas work was inspired by the excitement of professional cycle road racing with its foundations of speed, endurance and tactical cycling. John captures the drama of a Grand Tour break. That moment when the attacking riders attempt to escape the peleton. John’s semi-abstract impressionist style captures speed and drama at the same time as delivering accuracy of reproduction.  The subject seems to burst into life.

‘Break Away’ is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed and reverse side of the silk pocket square. Which works perfectly with any pocket square fold. The artwork is framed by the pocket square’s pink border and blue hand-finished hem. The 'Break Away' cycling silk pocket square makes an ideal gift for men.
